Boorley Green, Hampshire

We negotiated a collaboration agreement with the representatives of adjoining landowners and the agreements with our landowners were included as part of a consortium that successful in achieving planning permission for a 1400 dwelling urban extension to the settlement of Boorley Green.

The site extended across 200 acres of land and in-depth ecology and infrastructure studies were commissioned in support of an Environmental Impact Assessment to ensure deliverability and to achieve the planning consent in advance of the adoption of the local plan was challenged.

The original decision to grant permission was successfully defended at the High Court and although the challengers sought to have the matter referred to the Court of Appeal we managed to get that rejected so that the permission survived without amendment.

We have since successfully disposed of our interest in this site.
